AS 28.20.430. Default By Nonresident Insurer.
If an insurance carrier not authorized to transact business in this state, but qualified to furnish proof of financial
responsibility in this state, defaults in an undertaking or agreement, the department may not accept as proof a
certificate of the carrier whether previously filed or thereafter tendered as proof, so long as the default continues.
