20 AAC 05.722. Priority classification systems for Norton Sound herring gillnet fishery, Norton Sound herring beach seine fishery, Cape Romanzof herring gillnet fishery, Nelson Island herring gillnet fishery, and Nunivak Island herring gillnet fishery

(a) The commission finds that circumstances exist that require the use of the point systems in 20 AAC 05.722 - 20 AAC 05.742.

(b) A point scale of 0 - 100 is established for the Norton Sound herring gillnet fishery, the Norton Sound herring beach seine fishery, the Cape Romanzof herring gillnet fishery, and the Nelson Island herring gillnet fishery, respectively. An eligible applicant may claim points on the basis of the applicant's past participation and economic dependence as of January 1, 1987.

(c) A point scale of 0 - 100 is established for the Nunivak Island herring gillnet fishery. An eligible applicant may claim points on the basis of the applicant's past participation and economic dependence as of January 1, 1988.
