Section 190. Definitions

13 AAC 25.190. Definitions

In 13 AAC 25.010 - 13 AAC 25.190

(1) "certificate of liability insurance" means a form SR-22 which is supplied by the insurance company which issues the policy;

(2) "convicted" or "conviction" means either a conviction or forfeiture of bail when the term is used in reference to a traffic violation;

(3) "fraud" or "fraudulent practices" means, but is not limited to, any conduct or representation on the part of a licensee tending to induce anyone to believe or have an impression that a license to operate a motor vehicle or any other license or service granted by the commissioner may be obtained by means other than the ones prescribed by law;

(4) "owner" means a person who has controlling interest in a driver training school;

(5) "place of business" means a location where a driver training school maintains offices, open to the public from which the business of the school is conducted.
