7 AAC 49.220. Appeal to the director

The client may file an appeal to the director in writing within 15 days after receipt of the hearing authority's decision. Except as provided in applicable federal law, within 30 days after receipt of the appeal request, the director shall review the hearing record, the hearing authority's decision, and applicable laws, regulations, and policies, and render a decision on the appeal.
