Editor's note: As of Register 151 (October 1999), the functions of the former Department of Community and Regional Affairs were transferred to other state agencies. In accordance with ch. 58, SLA 1999 and AS 44.62.125 (b)(6), the regulations attorney revised 6 AAC 85, as of Register 152 (January 2000), to reflect changes in the names of state agencies.

The regulations in 6 AAC 85 were deleted by the regulations attorney as of Register 170, July 2004. The deleted regulations had been adopted by the Coastal Policy Council, which ceased to exist when ch. 24, SLA 2003 took effect on May 22, 2003. The duties and functions of the Coastal Policy Council were transferred by Executive Order 106, which took effect April 15, 2003, from the Office of Management and Budget in the Office of the Governor to the Department of Natural Resources. That department adopted regulations on this subject, effective July 1, 2004, at 11 AAC 110, making the 6 AAC 50 regulations obsolete.
