Installation on the Server: Part 1

First, place the disk labeled ‘Server Disk #1’ into the disk drive of your local network server, or where the shared directory is located. Double click on the File Manager icon to open the File Manager window. Click on the drive containing Server Disk #1, and locate the setup.exe file. Double click on this file or press Enter to open it and begin setup. You can also choose to Run the setup.exe file in order to begin setup.

Once setup has begun, you will be shown a registration window (see illustration below). Here, you are asked for your name, the name of the company, and for the serial number from your disks. You will find your personal serial number on the second disk of your two disk Server Disks set. Read the serial number from this disk and type it into the text box provided, using no spaces. Once the Server Disks are registered, the registration information cannot be changed. When all the necessary information has been typed into the text boxes, click on Continue or press Enter to go on.
