20 AAC 05.748. Point system for the Bristol Bay (Togiak) herring spawn on kelp fishery

(a) The commission will award points to an applicant for past participation in and economic dependence on the Bristol Bay (Togiak) herring spawn on kelp fishery as shown on the following schedule:

(b) In this section, "past participation and economic dependence" mean active involvement in a Bristol Bay (Togiak) herring spawn on kelp operation by an individual who held the interim-use permit required by the commission, who actively engaged in the commercial harvest of herring spawn on kelp in a manner consistent with the governing regulations and requirements of the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, and who derived earnings from the fishery.
