20 AAC 05.679. Special rules for the salmon hand troll point system

(a) If an applicant shows that, for any year beginning after December 31, 1974 through December 31, 1979, he or she fished consistently on voyages longer than seven days between landings, the applicant may receive credit for landings in excess of those shown by landing records.

(b) An applicant who is eligible to apply for an entry permit under AS 16.43.260 (a) and whose participation in this fishery was interrupted by his first enlistment or draft period of military service will be awarded the maximum number of points for past participation and income dependence for the fishing seasons missed due to that military service, if the applicant harvested the fishery resource commercially while participating as an interim-use permit holder before the beginning of military service.
