20 AAC 05.1012. Eligibility requirements for an interim-use permit for the Southeastern Alaska Dungeness crab pot fishery during the moratorium in the fishery

To be eligible for an interim-use permit for the Southeastern Alaska Dungeness crab pot fishery during the moratorium, an applicant must have

(1) held a valid interim-use permit issued under AS 16.43.210 (a); and

(2) during at least one of the season openings between January 1, 1988 and September 30, 1991, commercially harvested at least one of the following in the Southeastern Alaska administrative area, while participating as a skipper:

(A) at least 500 pounds of the fishery resource with pot gear in at least two calendar years, as evidenced by fish tickets; or

(B) at least 3,500 pounds of the fishery resource with pot gear, as evidenced by fish tickets; or

(C) the fishery resource with pot gear on at least 6 days, as evidenced by fish tickets.
