Section 420. Examination requirements

18 AAC 78.420. Examination requirements

A person who seeks certification or renewal of certification under this chapter shall take an examination approved by the department and administered by the division. The examination must test the extent of the applicant's knowledge regarding the category of certification sought, the state statutes and regulations relating to USTs, including familiarity with the nationally-recognized codes of practice listed in this chapter, and the unique environmental conditions affecting USTs in the state. A score of 75 or more is required to pass an examination.
