Section 840. Temporary certification

18 AAC 74.840. Temporary certification

In compliance with AS 46.30.110 , the department will issue a temporary certificate unless the department determines that human health, safety, and welfare would not adequately be protected. The temporary certificate is valid until the earliest date when the operator may be examined and certified under this chapter. A temporary certificate applies only to the system that the applicant is operating at the time of application, and will not be renewed. The fees required by 18 AAC 74.870(e) must be paid before a temporary certificate will be issued.
