Section 700. Airport closure

17 AAC 42.700. Airport closure

The airport manager shall order the emergency or temporary closure of the airport to aircraft operations if the manager determines that closure is necessary to preserve the safety of persons or of aircraft or other property. The manager shall give notice of the closure by issuing a Notice to Airmen under FAA Order 7930.2G as described in FAA Advisory Circular No. 150/5200-28B or by other means of notice required by the FAA.
