Section 820. Termination

15 AAC 154.820. Termination

(a) The Corporation may terminate a grant, in whole or in part, at any time before the end of the grant period with the consent of the grantee.

(b) The Corporation may terminate a grant, in whole or in part, at any time before the end of the grant period upon 30 days written notice to the grantee.

(c) The Corporation may terminate a grant, in whole or in part, before the end of the grant period if the grantee fails to comply with a term of the grant or of 15 AAC 154.700 - 15 AAC 154.835. The Corporation shall promptly notify the grantee in writing of the termination, the reasons for the termination, the effective date and the portion of the grant to be terminated if the termination is partial.

(d) A grantee may terminate a grant at any time before the end of the grant period upon 30 days written notice to the Corporation.

(e) If a grant is terminated, payments to the grantee or recovery of money by the Corporation will be made in accordance with the rights and liabilities of the grantee and the Corporation. Upon receipt of a notice of termination under (a) - (c) of this section, the grantee may not incur new obligations to be paid with money from a terminated grant or the terminated portion of a grant. After receiving notice of the termination, the grantee shall make a reasonable effort to cancel as many of the grantee's outstanding obligations which, but for the termination, would be payable, in whole or in part, with money from the grant as possible.
