Section 990. Definitions

12 AAC 75.990. Definitions

(a) In AS 08.54 and this chapter,

(1) "camp" means a primary base of operations in the field for the hunt;

(2) "department" means the Department of Commerce, Community, and Economic Development;

(3) "essential duties associated with guiding and outfitting" includes providing, in compliance with AS 08.54 and this chapter, the services listed in AS 08.54.790 (7)-(9);

(4) repealed 12/25/96.

(b) In this chapter,

(1) "specified location" means the name commonly used for a drainage, mountain, lodge, camp, landing strip, or valley that is a documented place name or is commonly used by people frequenting the location;

(2) "witnessed" means the document includes a signature that has been verified by two witnesses or notarized.
