Section 193. Review of application

12 AAC 04.193. Review of application

(a) An applicant who meets the requirements on the checklist established in this section has demonstrated the necessary qualifications to sit for the uniform certified public accountant examination applied for and will be approved by the board or the board's designee to take the examination. An applicant who does not meet the requirements on the checklist in this section will not be approved to sit for the examination unless the board further reviews the application and determines that the applicant meets the qualifications in AS 08.04 and this chapter.

(b) The form titled State of Alaska, Board of Public Accountancy - Uniform Certified Public Accountant Examination Checklist, dated October 2003, is adopted by reference. This form is established by the board for review by the department staff of applications for taking the uniform certified public accountant examination under AS 08.04.130 .
