Section 900. Definitions

8 AAC 27.900. Definitions

In this chapter

(1) "commissioner" means the commissioner of the Department of Labor and Workforce Development;

(2) "department" means the Department of Labor and Workforce Development;

(3) "director" means the director of the labor standards and safety division of the department;

(4) "division" means the labor standards and safety division of the department;

(5) "license applicant" means the person or business applying to the Department of Revenue for a license to do business as a fish processor or primary fish buyer in the state;

(6) "lienable real property" means real property in which the license applicant has equity and which can be unconditionally promised to the department as the security or a portion of the security required under this chapter.
