7 AAC 47.810. Income limits

(a) An individual is eligible for assistance under 7 AAC 47.800 - 7 AAC 47.890 if the individual has a total annual gross income for the calendar year in which the application is received that does not exceed the following amounts:

(1) for an individual, $15,134;

(2) for an individual and spouse who are living together, $20,439.

(b) In determining total annual gross income under this section, the department will not

(1) include any payment received under AS 43.23 (Alaska permanent fund dividend program) as income; or

(2) count income that is not legally available to the individual to spend for the individual's basic needs.
