7 AAC 43.235. Other payments

(a) Payment by the division is payment in full for those services authorized under medicaid. If the facility obtains from another source any additional payment for the care provided to a recipient for services that have been paid for by medicaid, it is the obligation of the facility to refund or credit the additional payments to the division.

(b) Available resources such as contributions and donations from friends or relatives have a direct effect upon the recipient's eligibility and upon the amount of payment by the division. The division must be notified of all such resources available to recipients to meet their cost of care.

(c) Billings to the division may not exceed the rate charged to private patients for any item or service charged by the facility.
