Section 225. Payment during impending decertification

7 AAC 43.225. Payment during impending decertification

The department will notify the division in writing when it has determined that an ICF or SNF is deficient in areas relating to patient care and has made a determination of impending decertification. The division will make no payment for recipients admitted to the facility or who become eligible for assistance after the date of notification by the department of that determination. The impending decertification may apply to only one type of certification in a combination facility; i.e., a facility certified as an ICF and an SNF.
