Section 430. Registration

7 AAC 25.430. Registration

(a) Every person or business which is engaged in, or enters into the commercial production of compressed oxygen sold for human respiration shall register with the department.

(b) Registration must be in writing and provide details including the registrant's name and company name, telephone number, mailing address, and location and the number, size, type, and location of each compressor.

(c) Results of analysis by the department or by an independent laboratory of a representative sample of compressed oxygen from the compressor or holding tank must be submitted by the registrant at the time of initial registration and annually thereafter. Such analytical result must demonstrate that the quality of the gas is not less than the standard established by 7 AAC 25.430 - 7 AAC 25.460, or registration will be rejected.

(d) Registration does not constitute endorsement or imply approval by the department of any product or activity conducted under this registration program. No advertisement promoting the sale of compressed gases may refer to registration with the department.
