Section 925. Limited disclosure

7 AAC 05.925. Limited disclosure

Such inspection, disclosure, or copy shall be permissible subsequent to the filing of any vital statistics record only when the custodian of the original or copy of such record receives application therefor; and is satisfied that such applicant has a direct interest in the matter recorded, and that the information therein contained is necessary for the determination of personal or property rights. Such decisions of a local registrar, recorder, or other local custodian of a vital statistics record may be appealed to the State Registrar. The decision of the State Registrar shall be final, subject only to appeal to the superior court.
