Registration Area Q has as its southern boundary a line from 54ΓΈ 36' N. lat., 168ΓΈ W. long., to 54ΓΈ 36' N. lat., 171ΓΈ W. long., to 55ΓΈ 30' N. lat., 171ΓΈ W. long., to 55ΓΈ 30' N. lat., 173ΓΈ 30' E. long., as its northern boundary the latitude of Point Hope (68ΓΈ 21' N. lat.), as its eastern boundary a line from 54ΓΈ 36' N. lat., 168ΓΈ W. long., to 58ΓΈ 39' N. lat., 168ΓΈ W. long., to Cape Newenham (58ΓΈ 39' N. lat.), and as its western boundary the Maritime Boundary Agreement Line as that line is described in the text of and depicted in the annex to the Maritime Boundary Agreement between the United States and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics signed in Washington, June 1, 1990, and as that Maritime Boundary Agreement Line is depicted on NOAA Chart #513 (6th Edition, February 23, 1991) and NOAA Chart #514 (6th Edition, February 16, 1991). These charts are adopted by reference.
