Section 80. Insurance

4 AAC 60.080. Insurance

(a) Each nonpublic, pre-elementary school must have bodily injury liability insurance in an amount not less than $100,000 per child, $300,000 per accident, with a company authorized to do business in the State of Alaska. Policies must contain the following endorsement:

"In the event of cancellation of this policy, the company agrees to give 30 days' advance notice to the Department of Education and Early Development, P.O. Box F, Juneau, Alaska 99811."

(b) If the insurance required under (a) of this section is allowed to lapse more than once in a 12-month period, the second policy lapse is grounds for termination of approval.
