Section 776. Assessment of a student with limited English proficiency

4 AAC 06.776. Assessment of a student with limited English proficiency

(a) A student identified as a pupil with limited English proficiency under 4 AAC 34.055 shall participate, either with or without an accommodation, in a test included in the statewide student assessment system under 4 AAC 06.700 - 4 AAC 06.790.

(b) A district shall appoint a team that includes parents and teachers to determine the necessary accommodations for students with limited English proficiency. The team shall document the accommodation decision and may not provide a modification.
