Section 545. Inspection of records and facilities

3 AAC 107.545. Inspection of records and facilities

(a) Upon receipt of a written request to inspect, the applicant shall make its books, records, facilities, and real and personal property available for inspection at a reasonable time by the authority to the extent necessary to evaluate the applicant's eligibility for a grant under AS 42.45.200 .

(b) The authority will, in its discretion and after reasonable notice, inspect the construction of any project that is being financed with a grant under AS 42.45.200 in order to determine whether the grant is being spent in accordance with the requirements of AS 42.45.200 . The inspection does not relieve the borrower of its obligation to comply with applicable codes and ordinances.

(c) The authority will, in its discretion and after reasonable notice, inspect the applicant's books, records, facilities, and real and personal property up to three years after the completion of construction of a project financed with a grant under AS 42.45.200 in order to determine whether the grant was spent in accordance with the requirements of AS 42.45.200 .

(d) The authority will, in its discretion, require the applicant to submit a sworn statement by an authorized representative describing the purposes to which the proceeds of the grant have been applied.
