Section 500. Eligible applicants

3 AAC 107.500. Eligible applicants

(a) Only an electric utility that meet the requirements of AS 42.45.200 and this chapter is eligible to apply for a grant from the electrical service extension fund.

(b) A grant application must be submitted by the utility that will serve the customers for whom the line extension is proposed, or by the utility for which the improvement is proposed. The authority will not accept a grant application submitted by a subcontractor or a third party on behalf of an eligible applicant.
