3 AAC 16.130. Electronic signatures

The commissioner will, in the commissioner's discretion, accept an electronic signature on an electronic record that is filed under AS 10 or AS 32 if

(1) a certifying authority registered under AS 09.25.510 verifies that the electronic signature is authentic; and

(2) the person providing the electronic signature has made an agreement, with the certifying authority described in (1) of this section, that the person accepts or agrees to be bound by an electronic record executed or adopted with that signature.
