AS 47.10.005. Construction.

The provisions of this chapter shall be liberally construed to

(1) achieve the end that a child coming within the jurisdiction of the court under this chapter may receive the care, guidance, treatment, and control that will promote the child's welfare and the parent's participation in the upbringing of the child to the fullest extent consistent with the child's best interests; and

(2) follow the findings set out in AS 47.05.065 .
