AS 41.17.100. Deployment of Broadcast Chemicals.
The commissioner of environmental conservation, in consultation with the commissioner, shall formulate necessary plans
and measures to ensure that application of broadcast chemicals and other substances foreign to the state's forest
ecosystem do not lead to results contrary to the objectives and provisions of this chapter and other applicable laws
and regulations relating to renewable resources. Regulations adopted by the commissioner of environmental conservation
may include requirements for advance testing, posting of security, written reports, and other matters.
