AS 41.14.890. Exemption For Emergency Situations.
In an emergency arising from weather or stream flow conditions, the deputy commissioner, through authorized
representatives, shall issue oral permits to a riparian owner for removing obstructions or for repairing existing
structures without the necessity of submitting prepared plans and specifications as required by AS 41.14.870
