AS 36.10.130. Resident Hire Report.
The attorney general and the commissioner of labor and workforce development shall report annually to the governor on
the status of employment in the state, the effect of nonresident employment on the employment of residents in the
state, and methods to increase resident hire. The report shall be submitted by January 31 of each year, and the
governor shall notify the legislature that the report is available.
