AS 34.45.020. Consignee's or Bailee's Notice to Owner.
If the property is not left with the consignee or bailee for the purpose of being forwarded, disposed of, or kept
according to directions received by the consignee or bailee, at or before the time of the reception of the property,
and if the name and residence of the owner of the property is known to the person having possession of the property,
the consignee or bailee shall immediately notify the owner, by letter directed to the owner and deposited in the post
office, of the reception of the property.
