First, check to insure that you are running the latest service pack on Windows NT. If you are not download and install from Http://www.microsoft.com , then reinstall Touch N' Go.
If you are currently running the latest service pack and are getting this error message, it may be due to a corrupted database. This sometimes happens during the initial set-up of the program. All versions of Touch N' Go are based upon the Access 2 database. If you delete data in an Access database, the Access database can become fragmented and use disk space inefficiently. Sometimes the database can become fragmented from improper shutdown of workstations, server problems. There is a utility called datarep.exe located within the Touch N' Go directory Compacting the database makes a copy of the file and rearranges how the file is stored on your disk.
In most cases, Microsoft Access detects that an Access database is damaged when you try to open it and gives you error messages such as: " Unrecognizable Database", "Incompatible Database",or " Internal Disk or Drive Failure". In some situations, Microsoft Access may not detect that an Access database is damaged. If Touch N' Go behaves unpredictably, compact then repair the database.
If you are compacting a multiuser (shared) database that is located on a server or shared folder, make sure that no one else has it open. If you attempt to run Datarep.exe while a user is still attached, you will receive an error 70/75 "Permission Denied". You must have Open/Run and Open Exclusive permissions for an Access database in order to compact it.
On the server, from the start menu, select RUN and browse to the TNGCSVR directory and double-click on datarep.exe. When prompted, select Repair/Compact Database. You may also need to specify corp.mdb
