Section 523. Tank cleanup loan examination

18 AAC 78.523. Tank cleanup loan examination

(a) A loan officer shall process and evaluate the materials described in 18 AAC 78.521. The loan officer shall evaluate the applicant's eligibility, operating plan, financial and credit history, ability to repay, and proposed collateral.

(b) On the basis of the evaluation, the loan officer shall inactivate the application due to lack of information required under 18 AAC 78.521, request additional information, or recommend proposed action on the loan request to the loan committee appointed under 18 AAC 78.524. The recommendation of a loan officer is not binding on a loan committee.
