Section 511. Continuation grants and loans

18 AAC 78.511. Continuation grants and loans

(a) The owner or operator who receives a grant or loan under 18 AAC 78.515 for cleanup may request, in writing, a continuation grant or loan for continued cleanup in a subsequent fiscal year. To receive a continuation grant or loan, the owner or operator must submit the request to the department within 75 days after being notified by the department to do so. In the written request, the owner or operator must resubmit an item required under 18 AAC 78.509(b) that has changed since the item was first submitted, amended to reflect the change. A continuation grant or loan request is subject to the project priority ranking procedure in 18 AAC 78.534.

(b) The owner or operator that fails to meet the deadline established in (a) of this section is ineligible for a continuation grant or loan for that fiscal year; the department will consider the owner's or operator's request for a continuation grant or loan for the following fiscal year, subject to the requirements of this chapter.
