18 AAC 76.070. Post-construction activities

(a) After the project is completed, the borrower shall notify the department in writing of initiation of operation. The department will then conduct a final on-site inspection of the project. Within one year after initiation of operation, the department will, in its discretion, conduct an audit of project expenditures. If construction is completed except for minor items, and the facility is operating, but the borrower has not sent its notice of initiation of operation, the department will, in its discretion, assign an initiation of operation date and conduct a final on-site inspection.

(b) The borrower shall provide for adequate operation and maintenance of the facility and shall retain operating personnel as required by 18 AAC 74 to operate the facility.
