Section 30. Acceptance of grants

18 AAC 65.030. Acceptance of grants

(a) Before the department will disburse money under the grant, a grantee must submit to the department an agreement signed by the grantee which provides that the grantee

(1) will spend the grant for the purposes specified in the grant application submitted by the grantee;

(2) will allow, on request, an audit by the state of the uses made of the grant; and

(3) assures that, to the extent consistent with the purposes of the project, the facilities and services provided with the grant will be available for the uses of the general public.

(b) The agreement submitted by a grantee under this section must be on a form furnished by the department.

(c) The department will, in its discretion, withdraw a grant offer that is not accepted by execution of an agreement under this section within 180 days after the date the grant offer is made.
