17 AAC 90.630. Registered service provider required

A registered service provider is a person, including a corporation, company, partnership, firm, association, organization, business trust, or society, except an employee of government, that installs, services, repairs, or reconditions a commercial weighing or measuring device, and has applied for registration with, and been approved for registration by, the director. A registered service provider, other than a natural person under this section, shall employ a registered service provider that supervises the work of other employees that are not registered under 17 AAC 90.680, and who signs placed in service reports under 17 AAC 90.700.
