17 AAC 28.025. Operating requirements for longer buses

Buses, including articulated buses, with length greater than forty feet, including equipment, must

(1) operate with headlights on at all times;

(2) during operations on highways with two traveling lanes, allow queues of five or more following vehicles to pass at the first opportunity;

(3) if multiple lanes are available, use the far right lane except when passing another vehicle or preparing for a left turn;

(4) carry one blanket, measuring at least six feet by three feet, for each seat on the bus; and

(5) carry two collapsible stretchers.
