17 AAC 05.020. Commissioner's deed

Whenever any real property, or interest therein, shall have been acquired by or transferred to the state through inadvertence or mistake in connection with highway purposes, the department shall prepare and submit a deed signed by the commissioner reconveying the right, title, or interest acquired. However, the reconveyance may not be executed until the state has been repaid the consideration, if any, for the acquisition or transfer.
