Section 770. Acceptance or rejection of application

15 AAC 151.770. Acceptance or rejection of application

(a) The Corporation will perform an initial review of an application for completeness, including the application fee, based on a format prescribed by the Corporation. The Corporation will notify the applicant in writing that the application is accepted for processing or that the application is rejected.

(b) If accepted, the Corporation will perform a second review of an application to insure that it meets the threshold ranking for acceptance as specified in the qualified allocation plan. The Corporation will notify the applicant in writing that the application has met the threshold for acceptance or that the application is rejected.

(c) The acceptance of an application by the Corporation is not a commitment to allocate any housing tax credit.

(d) When an application is rejected, the Corporation will state in writing the reasons for the rejection and the items necessary to make the application acceptable for processing.

(e) An applicant may appeal the rejection of an application as provided in 15 AAC 151.830.
