13 AAC 25.080. Lettering on instruction vehicle

Each motor vehicle used by a driver training school for instruction purposes shall have displayed on the back of the vehicle a sign not less than 20 inches in width or less than 20 inches in height. The sign shall be mounted above the upper extremities of the rear bumper in a vertical position and have the words "Student Driver" and/or "Instruction Car" in legible English letters of at least two and one-half inches in height near the top of the sign and name, street address and phone number of the school in similarly legible characters not less than one inch in height placed somewhere below those words. The lettering and background colors shall be of such contrasting shades as to be clearly readable at 100 feet in clear daylight.
