13 AAC 20.030. Report of search

(a) A person who is appointed to organize, direct, and guide search and rescue operations under the provisions of AS 18.60.120 , shall, within 10 days after completion of the operation, submit a written report to the commissioner or his designee.

(b) The written report required by (a) of this section must include the following information:

(1) the time of notification and commencement of the operation;

(2) the beginning and ending dates of the operation;

(3) the names and addresses of the persons who gave notification of the need for the operation and of those in need of search and rescue;

(4) the details of the operation; and

(5) the result of the operation.
