13 AAC 04.325. Taillights

(a) A motorcycle or motor-driven cycle must have at least one taillight meeting the illumination requirements of 13 AAC 04.010, mounted at a height of not more than 72 inches nor less than 15 inches. A bicycle must be equipped with a taillight which displays a red light visible 500 feet to the rear of the bicycle.

(b) Either a taillight or a separate light must be placed to illuminate, with a white light, the rear registration plate on a motorcycle or motor-driven cycle as required in 13 AAC 04.025(c) .
