Section 900. License renewal

12 AAC 75.900. License renewal

(a) The license renewal requirements in AS 08.54.660 and 08.54.670 apply to individuals licensed under AS 08.54.600 - 08.54.790 and to individuals licensed under AS 08.54.300 - 08.54.590.

(b) In AS 08.54.660 and 08.54.670,

(1) "registered guide" includes a guide-outfitter;

(2) "class-A assistant guide" includes a class-A assistant guide-outfitter; and

(3) "assistant guide" includes an assistant guide-outfitter.

(c) The department will issue a registered guide license to an individual who held a guide-outfitter license issued under former AS 08.54.300 - 08.54.590 and who meets the requirements for renewal of the license in AS 08.54.660 , 08.54.670, and this chapter.

(d) The department will issue a class-A assistant guide license to an individual who held a class-A assistant guide-outfitter license issued under former AS 08.54.300 - 08.54.590 and who meets the requirements for renewal of the license in AS 08.54.660 and 08.54.670.

(e) The department will issue an assistant guide license to an individual who held an assistant guide-outfitter license issued under former AS 08.54.300 - 08.54.590 and who meets the requirements for renewal of the license in AS 08.54.660 and 08.54.670.

(f) For a license that expires on December 31, 1996, the department will renew the license through December 31, 1997, if the licensee meets the requirements for license renewal in AS 08.54.660 , 08.54.670, and this chapter and pays one half of the biennial license renewal fee established in 12 AAC 02.230.
