Section 20. License to promote a contest

12 AAC 06.020. License to promote a contest

(a) The commission will, in its discretion, issue a license to conduct, hold, or give professional boxing or sparring contests, club boxing contests, or wrestling matches.

(b) An application for a promoter's license must be in writing and must include

(1) a statement of ownership of the organization seeking a license or a financial statement of the person seeking a license;

(2) two letters of recommendation;

(3) a full credit report; and

(4) payment of all required fees.

(c) An application for a license as a promoter must be approved by at least three commission members, before a license will be issued.
