To meet the requirements of AS 08.04.150 (1)(C), an applicant must have at least one year of public accounting experience under the direct supervision of a certified public accountant who, at the time the applicant was supervised, held an active permit to practice public accounting in a United States licensing jurisdiction. The experience need not be obtained in a United States licensing jurisdiction.
