Section 805. Computation of time

11 AAC 95.805. Computation of time

In computing a period of time under AS 41.17 or this chapter; the day of the act, event, or default from which the period of time applies is not included in the computation. The last day of the period is included, unless it is a Saturday, a Sunday, or a legal holiday in which case the period of time runs until the end of the next day that is not a Saturday, Sunday, or legal holiday. If the period of time under AS 41.17 or this chapter is less than seven days, intermediate Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays are excluded in the computation. A half holiday shall be considered as other days and not a holiday.
