11 AAC 71.520. Brand design

(a) A diagram or design on paper, within the meaning of AS 45.50.210 (b), will be considered acceptable if it is a sketch or drawing with exact dimensions shown, or a paint or ink impression of the brand. The department will, in its discretion, request the owner of a brand to furnish a paint or ink impression of the brand on paper at any time in order to confirm that the owner's branding hammer conforms to the design of the brand as registered.

(b) The actual size of the brand must be at least two inches in diameter or dimensions.
