In addition to the requirements of AS 38.05.945 , notice of a proposed classification or reclassification of state land will identify the acreage and location of the land involved, regardless of whether a legal description is used, and the land use plan on which the proposed classification or reclassification is based. The notice will specify one of the following methods for public comment on the proposed classification or reclassification:
(1) a public hearing conducted by the department in person;
(2) a public hearing conducted by the department by teleconference;
(3) solicitation and consideration of written comments during a specified period.
